Job Title:  Field Agent

Position Type:  Subcontractor


  • Verify occupancy and property condition.
  • Verify if property utilities are on or off.
  • Take supporting photos of property occupancy and condition for all inspections.
  • Attempt contact with homeowners/occupants for certain inspections.
  • Conduct interior and exterior inspections on vacant properties.
  • Evaluate and report damage(s) to the inspected property.
  • Determine and report maintenance needs for vacant properties.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in the reporting of all pertinent details of the property.
  • Represent the company and the company’s clients with respect and integrity.
  • Deliver bank envelope to occupant, if there is no answer at door, leave envelope on door. (Occupancy with Door card inspections)
  • Review online queue on a daily basis, plan and map routes.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time.
  • Maintain clear and continuous communication with Regional Manager.

  • Valid Florida driver’s license
  • Valid auto insurance with business use 
  • Ability to work in the rain, snow or heat

  • Laptop computer or desktop (PC only, MAC computers are not compatible with some of the software utilized)
  • Microsoft Streets and Trips or equivalent mapping software
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Internet
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Computer use
  • Pass background check
  • General Liability and Errors & Omissions policy covering Mortgage Field Inspections
  • Active Business entity: Inc., LLC, Corp, etc.


  • Each subcontractor is given access to the CFS online operating system, where they will be able to view assigned work, manage their work volume and return results.  Our software is web based and is accessible on any PC with internet. 
  • The majority of work volume is assigned from the 15th to the 30th of the month. You will still receive work throughout the rest of the month however, the volume is much smaller.
  • Subcontractors requesting a committed volume of inspections must be available to work some weekends, especially during the 15th to the 30th of the month and during window date inspections.
  • Each subcontractor is responsible for managing their own time and weekly schedule
  • All work must be completed within daylight hours.
  • Unavailability must be advised 48 hours in advance.
  • All inspections are time sensitive and must be completed within the stipulated due dates.
  • Completed work must be upload the same day it was completed.
